Fall has finally arrived in Florida!!!!!  Debbie’s post here, gives us all kinds of great ideas to bring the indoors out, to enjoy our outside gardens, patios, and lanai areas.

The long hot, humid, and rainy summer in Florida often times leaves our outdoor living areas with mold and mildew and upholstery looking rather “tired”.   Time to freshen up our upholstered cushions and pillows!!!

Indoor/outdoor fabric is the best product to use for these projects.  These fabrics have come a long way in the past few years.  They used to be stiff and flat with no texture.  Now there are many fabrics that feel so good, you can hardly tell they can be used outdoors as well as inside.

They offer UV protection, they are durable for all types of weather, and there are a range of patterns and colors so vibrant and on-trend you will be tempted to use them indoors as well as out.outdoorwindsor

Some advantages of using indoor /outdoor fabric are – bleach can be used to clean the upholstery, it is mildew and stain resistant, and it resists fading. Not only is it great on outdoor furniture, but we have used it for banquettes  in kitchens, dining chairs and entire sofas.

Come in and see the many fabric options available for your outdoor (as well as indoor) upholstery needs.
